Gmina Hrubieszów

The partnership between Kamianets-Podilskyi and Hrubieszów (Poland) was officially established on 16 September 2017, when the two sides signed a cooperation agreement. Main Areas of Cooperation
The agreement provided for cooperation in several areas, including local self-government, culture, tourism, education, sports, preservation of historical heritage, entrepreneurship, and local development. Thus, from the outset, the partnership had a comprehensive character and was aimed not only at official contacts between local authorities but also at cooperation across various spheres of community life.
Further Development of the Partnership
The partnership was established as long-term intermunicipal cooperation, aimed at exchanging experience and developing direct contacts between the two communities. Today, Kamianets-Podilskyi and Hrubieszów remain official partners: Hrubieszów is included in the list of partner cities of the Ukrainian community, while Kamianets-Podilskyi is included in Hrubieszów’s list of partner cities.
Overall, the partnership provides a foundation for further exchange of experience in local self-government, the development of cultural and educational contacts, tourism, sports, and economic cooperation, as well as for the implementation of joint initiatives between the Ukrainian and Polish communities.
