Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation
Cultural contacts and mutual support play an important role in the relationship. Sanok is a cultural and tourist centre of the Subcarpathian region, hosting international cultural events, festivals, and artistic projects. This creates opportunities for the exchange of cultural experience, the promotion of Ukrainian culture in Poland, and the development of contacts between creative groups and civil society organizations.
Current Stage of Cooperation
The partnership continues to develop through participation in joint events and the maintenance of direct contacts. In particular, in May 2026, a delegation from the Gmina of Sanok visited Kamianets-Podilskyi during the City Day celebrations, together with representatives of other European communities. The visit was another example of maintaining partnership dialogue and direct personal contacts between the communities.
The partnership between Kamianets-Podilskyi and Sanok is an important component of international cooperation and contributes to maintaining friendly contacts and mutual understanding between the communities. The established cooperation creates favourable conditions for further developing the partnership, exchanging experience, and strengthening ties between the Ukrainian and Polish sides.
