Włodawa County
The partnership between Kamianets-Podilskyi and Włodawa County of the Republic of Poland was established on 14 July 2018. The respective Partnership Agreement was signed in Włodawa during the international festival “Poleskie Lato z Folklorem.”
Main Areas of Cooperation
The partnership provided for the development of inter-municipal cooperation, the exchange of experience and information, and support for community initiatives, as well as cooperation in the areas of education, culture, healthcare, social development and sports.
Particular importance was attached to direct contacts between the residents of the two communities and to creating conditions for the further development of Polish-Ukrainian relations.
Освітня та молодіжна співпраця
Важливим напрямом партнерства стала взаємодія між навчальними закладами. Передбачалися обмін досвідом між педагогами, контакти між учнями та проведення спільних освітніх і молодіжних заходів.
Такий формат співпраці спрямований не лише на професійний обмін, а й на поглиблення взаємного розуміння польської та української культур серед молоді.
Культурна співпраця
Культурний напрям був одним із перших практичних проявів партнерства. Саме під час участі представників Кам’янця-Подільського у фестивалі «Poleskie Lato z Folklorem» у Влодаві було офіційно започатковано співпрацю.
Також були встановлені контакти між творчими колективами двох сторін, зокрема між Національним театром народного танцю «Подих» та польським Zespół Tańca Ludowego «Polesie». Спільна участь у культурних заходах сприяла популяризації традицій обох країн та розвитку безпосередніх контактів між їхніми представниками.
The cooperation between Kamianets-Podilskyi and Włodawa County is an example of Polish-Ukrainian inter-municipal partnership, based on direct contacts between local self-government authorities, institutions and residents.
The partnership covers several areas, including education, culture, healthcare, youth policy and community relations, and provides a foundation for the further development of practical cooperation between the Kamianets-Podilskyi territorial community and Włodawa County.
